Denise is an award-winning Fine Artist in several mediums, such as watercolor, photography, fiber art and in design, which has strengthened her desire and creativity in fiber. Quilting as an art form since 1997, she's known for her unique techniques in design. Her years of experience with Gallery prospectus leads her artwork to a public appeal. Her favored technique is a whimsical Folk Art style with incorporated computer printed imaging of her original watercolor works. This clever emplacement is what makes her work so original and it has been well received Nationally by private art collectors and International travel exhibitions.
Her new fiber series is a lifetime of appreciation of color and form that nature has to offer in all seasons. Captured images of her original digital Photography printed onto fiber for piece compositions from A-Z with the use of Ultrachrome Inks. Some may call this Gicleé printing only hers are printed onto pre-treated pima cotton.
She presently resides in Mesa, Arizona and is in studio working to complete future projects.
